Opioid receptor agonistic characteristics of mitragynine pseudoindoxyl in comparison with mitragynine derived from Thai medicinal plant Mitragyna speciosa

Mitragynine pseudoindoxyl C23H30N2O5 is an alkaloid synthesized from Mitragynine. It is a rearrangement product of 7-hydroxymitragynine It is also much stronger than Mitragynine but does not occure naturally in the plant, it needs to be synthesized. It is an analgesic being more potent than morphine and about as potent as enkephalin.
